Work experience

  • Carlos Hernán Godoy is a founding partner of Godoy Córdoba and an active member of the firm’s Advisory Unit. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in the development and positioning of labor law in Colombia, combining professional practice with a deep commitment to academic and professional training.
  • He serves as a leader and lecturer of the Escuela del Saber, a knowledge-sharing platform within the Godoy Córdoba Corporate School (EGC), where it promotes continuous learning and the concordance between being and knowing.
  • For over 40 consecutive years, he has been a professor at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, teaching both undergraduate law courses and the Labor Law specialization. He has also taught in academic programs at other leading institutions such as Universidad de los Andes, Universidad del Rosario, and Universidad de La Sabana.
  • He is a frequent speaker on labor and social security topics for respected organizations such as LEGIS, ACRIP, AMCHAM, the Colombian Labor Lawyers’ Association, ANDI, among others, establishing himself as a prominent voice in legal analysis and the evolution of labor relations in the country.
