Work experience
With over 15 years of experience in labor law, Santiago Martínez is a partner at Godoy Córdoba and currently leads the Audit Unit, while also serving as co-director of the Collective Law and Litigation Units. Throughout his career, he has managed portfolios for companies across various economic sectors, providing strategic labor counsel, representing clients in judicial and administrative proceedings, and leading teams in matters before the Ministry of Labor.
Santiago is recognized for his expertise in handling corporate crises and developing strategies to resolve highly complex labor conflicts, positioning himself as a trusted advisor for organizations in critical situations.
In the academic field, he has been a tenured professor in undergraduate and graduate programs at prestigious institutions such as Universidad de los Andes, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín, and Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, contributing to the education of new generations of labor law professionals.
He has also been an active member of the labor committees of ANDI and ACRIP, contributing to the analysis and development of labor policies at the business level.
